Christian Clauwers

My name is Christian Clauwers. I am an explorer/photographer who has travelled extensively and in recent years have focussed entirely on exploration of the five oceans and their islands, including some of the most remote on the planet. Most recently I attended the United Nations Climate Change Conference as an official Belgian delegate, including showing my work. My motivation to be involved with climate change increased significantly having visited both inhabited and uninhabited islands, including both polar regions.

The underlying story of each project is the interaction between man and nature. My goal is to increase global awareness of the rising sea levels and plastic pollution.
